So I got my assessment done.

And I have ADHD. But I'm seriously underwhelmed - probably because I really really suspected it I guess?

However the search is over. I can now look at how to rebuild my life in the right context and not be fighting my brain over every single thing. As for medication, I can't afford to start that yet, although I'm planning to move that to the NHS as soon as possible too.

Now to wait for the letter and have it really hit home. It's just not sunk in as a reality yet.

Good that you have it in official writing soon. I am still in the limbo, waiting for the final assessment but 100% sure by now. So i might also feel underwhelmed when it finally happens. I already started the rebuilding, as you call it. Hope you also feel much more at ease with yourself, and looking forward to whats next, as i currently experience it.
