So... I’m a nervous flyer and have been since I saw the plane crash episode of grey’s anatomy. I don’t know why but I am. Does anyone have any advice for me?

I’m not a great flyer either. I won’t tell you why!

If a Valium from a dr is easy for you I’d say ask!

If not, I take some magnesium about 2 hours prior and bring my own bags of yogi Kava stress relief tea. Have one just before you board, any coffee shop will give you hot water and drink another on the plane. The Kava root in the tea is a natural relaxer. You may not feel the effects when you’re taking off since your mood will likely be too elevated but after that it will definitely help you relax.

Hope that helps.

I don't like flying either. From the time when they announce to board the plane to the actual takeoff, my anxiety gets ratcheted up to near panic attack. I hate taking off the most. So I ask my GP to prescribe some Xanax for me, he will only give me a few but it sure does help get me through the worst of it.

The Kava tea is a good idea too.
