Accidentally Self-Medicated

I currently am not medicated for my ADHD (for which I have an appointment next week), but I do have a sinus infection. I took some Sudafed to clear my head up and I noticed that my attention span dramatically improved, and I was also much nicer to people who normally test my patience. Has anyone else had a similar experience, and for those with ADHD medication, have you noticed it making you kinder and more patient?

Yes, my ADHD medication (I take Ritalin) definitely increases my patience.

Sudafed is sold behind the pharmacist's counter. Regular Sudafed contains a lot of amphetamines. Please call your primary doctor or go into urgent care to take care of your sinus infection. It is very important to watch out for interactions with other meds and also not advisable once U get on ADHD meds to eat grapefruits. I forgot the medical reason but there is something contained in grapefruit that can negatively affect the potency of not just psychotropic but other drugs as well.

Like stop saying this bro. Look it up before preaching it increases the potency also with anxiety meds doses nothing to make it less poten it can save you when in a bad spot and can't get more meds when having an anxiety attack

Yeah, the reason Sudafed is kept behind the pharmacist's counter is because they use it to make meth ... pseudoephedrine is a stimulant. That's actually really good luck, because you can tell the doctor and it might cut short some of the BS about getting prescribed stimulants....
