Someone has asked me for help. She has been taking Ritalin for her ADHD. She has used her last tablet today. How can she get another prescription for the drug. Or approach someone for help. She lives in the UK

Kind Regards

Martin

I have no idea. I do not take adhd drugs as of yet. Nor am I interested in the addictive variety. Not sure is ritilan falls under that catagory...Im newely diagnosed and know very little about all of this.

ADHD meds (Ritalin & Adderall) are NOT addictive to those that have ADHD. They do not make you feel UP, they bring you focus. Please talk to your doctor regarding this as you have incorrect information.

Why doesn’t she go to her doctor and get a renewal? What exactly are you asking? ??

If she has a legitimate RX she will be given another RX from her doctor that’s for a thirty day period.

mmm.... well said, of course we are all here to offer constructive ideas but this one sounds a little shady!! P'raps she is in some trouble because her physician won't help anymore? That is not a good scenario if if indeed she does have legitimate needs, i really hope she is ok

She should only take the drug if she has a prescription for it. Once a doctor prescribes the medication, she and her doctor need to continue to work on her medication regiment and watch her health closely, physical and mental health. A therapist is also recommended to help with the adjustments made with this medication.
