ADHD Psychiatrist ??

I am looking for a psychiatrist to treat my ADHD; However, my current doctor is not prescribing me the medication I need to effectively treat my ADHD. Does anyone know a good psychiatrist in Rhode Island to treat my ADHD effectively?

The first psychiatrist I didn’t like so I went somewhere else and I was lucky the second doctor I saw who I see on a regular basis now is wonderful. I think if you don’t know anyone who knows of someone to recommend to you you just have to keep trying until you find the right doctor. Also I asked the girl at the front desk when making my appointment a few questions about the doctor. I had some concerns and that was helpful
