I have adhd and I take vyvanse for meds... I do experience perks but it is when i start to come down that I become more grouchy, I cant seem to handle my anger like i used to.. has anyone had the same issue? Is their another medication that will work better?? i am starting to worry myself and my family..

Ibluke the combination I'm on, zoloft and wellbutrin. Zoloft helps with the short temper and wellbutrin has helped with the thoughts and motivation.i I would do better with 15 mg of Adderall but cant get my doc to prescribe it. Good luck, I know change can be scary but staying in this state can be scary too.

I too struggle with the moodiness as I come down from my Vyvance. It’s not a pretty sight at all especially when you have two little ones. One of them being a 13 year old who suffers from severe ADHD. 😢

I just started Vyvnase and have yet to see any effect at all. I switched from Adderall XR because it barely lasted 6 hours and the crash was AWFUL too. Did you notice an improvement in your symptoms right away with Vyvnase or did it take some time? I think I need a higher dosage...

Hi,

I didn’t use Vyvanse, but was on Adderall . While on it I became a walking tinderbox. Luckily I kept a journal so I could refer back to it when needed.... Ritalin still made me excited but not as bad as Adderall. I was changed to Strattera, which worked well. My diction and focus improved. I always say keep a journal.... writing in it sometimes I forget but I keep a constant vigil about writing things when I change them.... helped me a lot.
