Now I feel bad about posting about one bad day

Thanks newcomers. I'll leave. Your passive aggression is unnecessary.

I would hope no one would be cruel like that. What I love so much since being on this site is being able to share my ups and downs and I like to share information I found on the internet. It also makes me feel good to show support to others. I know how good it makes me feel when i get a like or response. Everyone has been kind to me and I want you to know I enjoy reading your posts and giving support the best I can.

Why do you feel bad about posting about having a bad day?

I didn’t read your other post but please don’t feel bad about venting. I feel like every single day is more difficult for me than it is for most people, and I imagine others with ADHD might feel the same way. I struggle with the most ridiculous things in every area of my life that other people just handle with no problem. For example, my registration sticker on my car expired in 2013, I’ve missed 4 flights in one day, and just this week I’ve been telling everyone I was going to an architectural tour tomorrow and I would be in Miami for a conference this coming Mon-Wed and I’ve been scheduling work meetings around that trip....I just realized today the tour and my trip are the following week. Ahhhh, all I can do is laugh about the situation. My point is that we all have bad days and this is a perfect place to vent because we should be able to empathize with one another more than with people who don’t understand us. I’m sorry you didn’t feel supported and I will try to do a better job at following your posts to hopefully try to help you feel better if I’m able to.

Don't feel bad, we all have bad days and a lot of us post about it to. Why, because it helps. Just knowing other people are experiencing the same thing and can relate the way other non-ADHD people can't understand. We all have felt like everyone is against us. If someone commented and it offended you just brush it off, don't lose one of the best resources I have found. Just my opinion.

Silence on a website usually means others are busy, not passive-aggressive, so sorry if everyone else's preoccupations gave you a misimpression.

It's perfectly all right to vent, once in a while; and here, at least, you have a decent chance of being understood.

Hang in there!
