Looking for resources

I am looking for recommended reading for parents with new diagnosis (8 yo boy) and possible younger siblings as well. We have some experience and I remember reading some great material but donated it years ago to others.

Especially poignant was a letter in the national magazine from a teenager with ADHD explaining in detail what his day was like.

I am not sure if there was ever more written from that POV but it really helped us as parents.

Thanks for this site. I know it helps a lot of folks.

My 10y/o son was diagnosed last year and we are making progress. Education is definitely the key!! I watched a seminar recently by Russell Barkley. It was long but VERY informative! I highly recommend watching it. Found it on YouTube. Also most experts will say ADHD is labeled wrong and it is actually an executive function disorder and with that I have read “the everything parents guide to children with executive function disorder” great book!! Stay positive, remember forgives for him and yourself!!! This is a life long journey and needs patients. Best wishes you are strong!!!
