Hello!I've seen a lot of suggestions of books, podcasts, etc that give good advice for how to help or parent someone with ADHD.
What I'm wondering is, what is a good resource for helping me understand it to begin with? What is going on in my child's brain? If you yourself have ADHD, what resource do you feel best describes you?
Thanks!

I really like this youtube video from the how to adhd channel: m.youtube.com/watch?v=jhcn1... She has adhd herself and has many videos like this one that have a first-hand account of what it is, what is is like, and how to manage life. Also, Seth Perler is great. He explains executive function challenges in this video: m.youtube.com/watch?v=Z6RMB... And CHADD has a free course that explains adhd. It is good too.
What resource best describes YOU and your experience with adhd? Love that question. I'm going to look on here and see if there is a spot kids with adhd chat. There are alot of adhd sites but this question is spot on.
