I have an ADHD son, age 10 years old, and he is currently going to grade 3 in August. I want to move to Turkey (Istanbul) and I was wondering how is the life there for these type of kids like schools, therapies and extra curricular activities.

For my job I have worked internationally on medicines for kids with rare genetic diseases (not adhd). From what I’ve seen the healthcare system in Turkey includes access to many current medicines but not always all of the same options we have here. With the unrest there it can be harder now for some new medicines to gain approval or national coverage. I don’t know about adhd care specifically, but I think this may be mostly a US group so I’m not sure many members will have Turkey experience. Perhaps ask through some of your friends or family or contacts there? Maybe there is an adhd international group on Facebook? Best of luck to you!
Hmm - I don’t know much about Turkey. The little bit I’ve found on Google suggested they have been open to ADHD medication (some countries are not.) It May also depend where in Turkey you are considering.
I would recommend contacting the Turkish embassy, perhaps? Or other Turkish government organizations? And of course, ask any contacts you may have over there.
In general, the US seems to be leading the way in ADHD research, acceptance & research. But some countries are following us very much in line, while others are either taking their own path or have not come around to seeing ADHD as seriously. I have no idea where Turkey falls in this line up.
Best of luck!!
