“Smart but Scattered” by Peg Dawson is the book every mental health professional keeps recommending to us.

I also highly recommend “Taking Charge of ADHD” by Russell Barkley.

I’m currently reading “All About ADHD” by Tom Phelan - His “1-2-3 Magic” book has been invaluable for us in terms of discipline for both of our kids, and was also recommended by multiple psychologists.

Superparenting for ADHD by Dr. Edward Hallowell. At the beginning of our journey (10 years ago), this book was a life saver for me.

Your Defiant Child by Russell Barkley if this is a problem. Peg Dawson's book on Executive Skills in Children and Adolescents for organization, time management, etc.

First off I want to encourage you that you are doing a great job! Parenting through ADHD is work and we can get worn down.

There are some great articles and resources here: bit.ly/2yeGxU8

I have two with severe ADHD, now adults and though the journey is hard, we have been left with adults that have a great drive and creativity.

I pray that you find answers that help you in this journey and direction that makes things most productive for your family.

Best wishes~
