Sorry if someone has already asked this. I was recently introduced to the Feingold Diet as well as having

re-found a cookbook I have called

The Kid Friendly ADHD & Autism Cookbook. I was wondering if any of you have tried either of these and what your experience with them was. Did it work?

Dear Cori,

Our son was diagnosed high functioning autistic at age 4. We took away gluten, dairy, dyes, artificial flavors and later natural flavors. I did use that cookbook but mostly made up my own recipes and baked a lot of cakes and breads. Our son is now "nowhere near" autistic based on his assessment at age 13. Also extremely helpful was Mensah Medical's workup and prescription vitamin protocol. This stabilized his moods, especially depression, and is helping improve overwhelm, ADHD and anxiety. Diet continues to be key for our boy.
