Daytrana patch

Anyone have experience with Daytrana patch for child? Good or bad experiences? So far I have heard of a few good experiences from people on here. Just looking for any more input. Going to ask my sons psychiatrist to try it in two weeks. I think the more steady increase and decrease in medicine over a longer period of time (9 hours) will be a lot better than ups and downs of other forms of methylphenidate. He really cannot handle the medicine going up and down in bloodstream multiple times throughout the day. He gets anxious, has a good hour, then rebounds, then anxious and rebounds all over again.

I would like to hear what people say about it. My son is on methylphenidate and when he first takes the medicine is almost worse than when he is not on the medicine.

I know exactly what you mean. I saw some amazing improvements with methylphenidate capsule form but it also made him worse when it hit him hard and when it started declining. I kind of decided the cons outweighed pros in regard to methylphenidate but then I started reading about Daytrana and I am very very hopeful this will be a good fit.
