Hello this is my first time on here i have been looking for support with my son that as ADHD i feel like I have no support with my family and friends i got into a aurge met with a close friend of mine she doesn't understand and she tells me I'm missing out on a lot because of my son my feeling was so hurt she made it seem like he is Aberdeen I'm sorry to be going on about it it's just i needed to talk to someone that can relate thank you for letting me sure

Most people will not understand if they don’t have personal experience with ADHD. My family and friends do not understand at all. In that case it’s up to you to find supports who do have some understanding because we all need support. I think it’s sad that we don’t take mental health issues serious in this country because we can’t actually see the problem. There is no concrete physical evidence in diagnosing ADHD like most health issues. All we can do is observe their behavior. And behavior is very complex. Do you feel your son is receiving adequate support through medication, school support, any behavior therapy that may be available?
