Anyone switched school?

I am a mother of 6-1/2 year old boy who was diagnosed with ADHD combination type and mild intellectual disability with anxiety.

I'd like to ask if anyone switched school because you weren't happy with the school and what was the point you made that decision.

Recently I had an issue with a resource teacher who pressured me sending him to another assessment because she thinks that my son is more than mild intellectual delays..... which upset me so much. I felt that the school just want the funding from the government. After this day, I dig into IEP to double check if they are implementing everything we've talked about. Then I discovered that one of PE goals was too advanced to achieve which was confirmed by my son's physio therapist. I forwarded the email and the resource teacher agreed to modify the goal.

Other things like the report card was only 1 page. Usually we get 3 pages long. I approached the teacher why only 1 page.

I emailed the resource teacher youtube video of Dr. Russel Barkley's and wanted teachers to watch it during the IEP meeting. Which the school principal didn't appreciate right after spring break. She complained that I over communicate with them by taking their time out of school hours.

I want to hear from other families who made a difficult decision. I'm not sure if I'm over reacting.

My son's class has 26 students and the classmates are all kind and accept him. Socially he improved but due to the big class size, there are lots of distractions that he tries to walk away from class. He has auditory sensitivity.

His academics are not good.... It's not a surprise since his IQ is much lower than others.

He's on meds.
