I had originally posted approx. 2 weeks ago that we were having such a hard time. We at that time only had a diagnosed of ADHD. As of yesterday we now can also add ODD and Autism into the realm. I am pleading for any help and any experiences any one may offer.

first thing is As a mother and a parent this is Not your fault this is not that one beer you had when you didn’t know you were pregnant this is not the universe punishing you .So now we have passed all that I always say love love love Your child for me when I first found out I slowly put myself in the shadow I went through a couple days of being depressed now on the other hand My Husband do not believe that anything wrong with our son so I cannot discuss anything with him about ADHD and the reason for that is that my husband have ADHD but you just don’t know it and was never diagnosed so he just took my son is being a boy .So the only place I could’ve gotten That extra strength and patience from Is my God I have to go down on my knees and beg him to help me to be able to help my child and each and every day I wake up I am much happier and my son is doing great
The best advice I can give is to read about all three things. Understanding the autism, especially, will help you realize that you are not alone, and that your child is exhibiting some of the things all children exhibit. You can do this!!
Now you are talking my language, my son has the exact diagnoses . He is one smart kid with the emotional issues. With the proper medications; and we went through several samples, he is able to maintain better behavioral problems at school. At home he is fine, everything is structure from the time he gets up until he goes to be bed. Hold your ground, set your standards at school and home, help him learn to make the adjustment. Also at school, make sure your child have the accommodations through an IEP. Make sure the teachers are aware of the accommodations, if anything works at home to deescalate behavior issues share that with the teacher. If you need anymore insight or just to vent, I'm here.
