It's getting worse.

My 8 year old has not yet been diagnosed BUT we are currently having therapy sessions for evaluation. I feel his excessive hyperactivity is getting worse and it's truly taking a toll on me. I find myself curling up to cry almost every other day. I have to repeat myself over and over everyday. He makes these noises and has trouble stopping or feels the need to have outbursts. That's just some of it. A lot of you are already way past where I'm at, any suggestions as to dealing with this behavior.

Try to change his diet and maybe fish oil it's good for everyone. I have had theses behaviors out of my 9 year old since she was 5 or 6 years old. From throwing to yelling out burst. I would suggest get in to see a child psychiatrist. It sounds like you have an impulsive child as well. I don't know if you believe in medicine for your child but it is worth a try. We have to help our children as much as possible. As your child gets older it will get worse. You don't want your son to get in a situation you can not get him out of.

Thank you. Our referral was put in for the psychiatrist today. I will look into fish oil.😊
