Thank you, my shoe!

I’ve been travelling up daily to Salford Quays for a 3-day event , with the commute taking 2.5 hours one way. It involved lots of walking to and from trains, up and down stairs of the venue, standing in trams and at buffet lunches. And then I end up walking around the site, as well, to explore and get some fresh air midday.

So I’ve been so pleased that my feet feel so content in my relatively new walking boots, feeling spacious but cushioned, stable but bouncy, warm but not hot.

So I’ve been so consciously thankful for a pair of shoes that make my feet feel great! They make me want to get out there and walk more!

So hail and thanks to a good set of shoes! 👟 🤎🥾🤎👟

Hope you have a pair of shoes that make you feel just as ready to walk the world! Let us know!

These days I attempt to do March to October in my Keen active sandals (including running in them sometimes)

I had to look these up, and I think I had a pair when I was younger, for hiking. But haven’t tried these for a very long time.

Amazing that you can run in them, as I remember them to have quite a rigid sole.

But fabulous. I learned to appreciate a good pair of shoes only once I started running, but now I cannot stop swooning over shoes and have the utmost appreciation for the makers of these actually quite complicated design gems for our feet!
