Welcome to the forum Tanky666, if you wish to start running you have come to the correct place, C25K is a 9 weeks running course, but you can take longer if you wish to by repeating as many runs or week's if you want to, take all the runs slowly, no running on consecutive days as that could cause a injury, drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration, you can report your progress on this forum if you wish to, good luck, ✔️✔️

Welcome, so glad you found us.

Yes, there is the Active 10 app, which is brilliant for getting started. You can start off by setting a target of 10 minutes per day, increasing that as you go along.

But the idea is to do some active walking every day,

Here’s the guidance from NHS nhs.uk/live-well/exercise/r...

and the app can be downloaded from these pages: nhs.uk/better-health/get-ac...

And definitely keep coming back to this forum and if you are up for it, report how it’s going. We have all sorts of challenge’s happening to keep us motivated in our walking journey.

Current challenges are always “pinned”, and you can access pinned posts here healthunlocked.com/active10... or through the menu at the top.

So welcome and hope you enjoy your walking journey!
