Today’s been a day of running around. Literally, first thing when I got out for my run in horror film-esque mist and fog (see my post soon to go up on Bridge!). The car had to go to the garage meaning a complicated system of convoy to get MrU to work, the car to the garage and leave me with MrU’s car. Luckily that all worked and by the time my car was fixed, the weather was glorious. It’s only a 2 mile walk through fields so set off of collect it. Beautiful sunshine and I wished I’d worn shorts…until some of the paths were overgrown with stingies and then I was glad of my leggings. Some lovely sheep in the fields. This little gang were blocking one of the paths. They didn’t seem to mind me skirting past though!
It was lovely to be out in the sun without the blazing heat there’s been lately. Roll on proper autumn!

Absolutely perfect, the logistics of the day were tricky but you got there and saw those cute sheep too. I'd forgotten stinging nettles, I brushed past a clump the other afternoon and lay in bed wondering what was wrong with my leg 🤣🤣🤣
Thank you! They were very cooperative. There are often walkers/runners through those fields and the sheep are pretty tame. I love it when the lambs are around.
Proper autumn here today is driving rain. Hopefully it’ll cheer up soon!
Thank you! They were really sweet. There was another little gang lying in the shade around a gate. They were super chilled and even enjoyed a little head pat. I think those ones sometimes live in a petting zoo. It was such a nice walk. Saved a car journey too!
