Our village peacock 😁

Forgot to post this a week or so ago !

I was returning from one of my walks to find our friendly village peacock in my next door neighbours front garden 😁

He has now lost his magnificent tail feathers but still a handsome boy!

Misty the cat however is a little unsure and keeps a safe distance 🀣

Great photo! I wonder what happened to his tail feathers.

As a photographer, I’ve stalked quite a few peacocks to try and get good photos of them! 😊

He's quite a friendly chap , he just wonders around the village strutting his stuff... Not really afraid of anyone 😁

They loose their tail feathers at the end of the mating season... But will grow back next year 😊

Lovely photo of that peacock Ian, at one of the parkruns I go to there is a peacock sanctuary, it's in Pittencrieff Park Dunfermline, sometimes when I take a walk on a Friday or run on a Saturday I see a peacock or hear one calling out probably for a mate, the nearby restaurant is called Peacock Restaurant, that's the same place that after parkrun the runners take coffee or cake and the volunteers process the parkrun results.
