Hope everyone had a fabulous sunny June so far! For those in the UK, arenβt the long weeks of warm weather just fantastic! We used it for living outdoor on some long weekends, with gardening, evening parties and outdoor pizza evenings.
Oh yeah, some walks early on the morning as well! Hubby went out daily to catch up on his #1000 mile challenge (he let it lapse and now he is walking 12 to 15k a day! π³π±π«£) And I do the every-other-day training walk, with some run intervals thrown into the mix! (Inverse Jeffing, maybe called Fejjing?)
So Iβm not quite an everyday walker at the moment, and Iβm so in awe of everyone who does manage to walk daily!
Well done, you daily walkers! Youβre champions !
For our June/July photo challenge I thought weβd do something really plentiful and alive: CRITTERS!
Having spent quite a few mornings and evenings outside in sunny weather, at times lifting pots or getting close to butterflies, I can see spring is the time for all sorts of creepers and crawlers, also flutteres and scurries.
So can you catch some of these in your photos from your walks!
I was amazed by this huge, glossy, black beetle I saw the other day, but I didnβt have my phone camera ready! So I had to take a bit of creative freedom with my photo collage, also including some worm-looking seed pods I encountered on my routes.
(So feel free to post our CRITTERS as a separate post with the hashtag/word #Photowalk in the title of the post. (E.g. β#Photowalk July: 1000+ legs π¦π¦π¦ππͺ°ππβ )
June/July Challenge: take a picture of a CRITTER you encounter on one of your walks!
