Elevation?

Does the app take account of elevation? I live in a very hilly place, I'm wondering how accurately it will measure my walking speed if I'm slowing down to go uphill.

Don’t think it does - I live in a hilly place too and wondered the same and it didn’t look as if it takes elevation into account. But maybe someone else knows for sure?
