I have gained over 3 stone after crushing my leg in Dec 2016.
My mobility is poor due to pain but l need to loose this extra weight. I just don't know how as l cannot exercise or even walk more than a few places without making the pain worse.
Any ideas?

Don't worry, Workout1. Life has dealt you a low blow, but you WILL get better - it will just take time. Maybe a bit of meditation will help you, as well as a realistic plan to recover your health and fitness. Slow and steady is our mantra - eventually it will all come together. Try to stay strong!
I’m sorry about your leg that must of been a shock to your life. Hidden has some great advice about how to start of slow and build up. Remember that anything you do is positive and mark those goals as you reach them with the respect they deserve. When I was recovering from my surgery I made it a point not to judge myself on what I used to do and just acknowledge the steps forward from then onwards. Keep coming back and we will support you.
Oh my goodness, you poor thing, you are certainly having a rough time. I agree with what Hidden has said, slow and steady, excellent advice.
Just to let you know though I have a friend who shattered her ankle just after the New Year and she has to rest and can't do much at all and I spoke to her the other night and the way she is watching her weight is by having all her meals in a bowl and not filling the bowl up to the top. Once she has finished what is in that bowl she eats no more. She has lost 9lbs since she broke her ankle.
