Welcome to our virtual walking group. We are here to support and encourage. I always find that being part of a group helps to keep the motivation going and makes it more fun.

Whatever the walking goals you are working towards is fine, it is all about encouraging each other to achieve those little goals as we progress.

Please feel free to post as many times as you like through the week and the at the beginning of the new week I will put a new post up. I'm going to number the posts but that's more for my benefit but if you want to use the weeks to set yourself goals please do.

Wishing you a happy healthy week and happy walking. ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€.

Feeling a bit tired after a short walk yesterday turned into a long walk. Set off to walk round battersea park and then down the Kings road. We ended up walking through a Chelsea, Fulham and across to Putney Bridge and back to Battersea on the other side. I was a lovely walk in the sunshine, only down side is I didn't have long walking shoes on and I didn't have my backpack, so I have a sore shoulder (from my handbag) and achy feet, but it was still worth it. ๐Ÿ˜€.

I'm sorry to hear that, I hope you get to the bottom of it soon. Keeping a diary of the smallest things can sometimes help with things like that. Take good care of yourself Rfc x.

How frustrating for you. I hope it improves soon.

Good morning everyone! I managed a couple of longish walks last week, one deliberately and one by going for a meander with my daughter which ended up at 7K! Yesterday we made the most of the outstanding Bank Holiday weather by walking along the seafront at Worthing on the South Coast. All together we managed 14K! This did include stops for coffee, ice cream, lunch and a rather dodgy fairground ride...
