BENIGN IS NOT FINE - this is our benign storySo very sad

I have to do this anonymous though I wish I didn't

I'm not staying married, illness especially the brain tumors robbed me off the man they should have been mine

But he had a brain tumor and surgery as a seven year old which I never knew about until we were 5 years married.

By then I was trapped in with 2 little babies, no support, a narcissistic and psychopath father in law who bullied and harassed me, and I had no husband to protect me or stick up for me as the brain injury had damaged his processing and emotional capacity and capabilities.

In the last 10 years there was so much illness, tumors, cyst, surgeries, epilepsy, gamma knife, loss of hearing. So much caring and no normal life, no relationship.

Not livable with

Finally divorcing now

Brain injury = autism

I had to wait until 2025 to learn and understand this. After years of caring, being psychologically abused, neglected, illness and the dysfunction illness brings, and no relationship, I understood there was no way to fix this.

Excruciating and so painful but I made the choice to walk away.

Be kind to your partners, be considerate, don't use abuse and take advantage of those who care for you

Anyone share similar experiences of brain injury leading to divorce / the breakdown of relationship? Please share
