I have dry mouth for last couple years prior to diagnosis of AN. Has anyone else had this issue related to AN?

Hi,I have not had a dry mouth though my tastes have changed. I do have difficulty swallowing certain foods so tend to eat mash, soups etc. I do have a dry left eye (the same side my AN is on) but I use a spray for dry eyes which helps.

Have you tried chewing gum?

Hope you can resolve your problem.

Take care,

Hi Susan. I have tried gum. Only works while I'm chewing. Thanks for the hug. XXX

Hi, yes I was diagnosed last year and my mouth does seem to be drier and I am definitely getting more dry eye symptoms these days in my left eye, same side as the AN.Again not sure if either is really related to the AN or just an age thing 🤔
