Is it possible to get yourself sectioned in the UK?

I am on antidepressants but i just feel like i'm scared and anxious all the time and i really hate people as i feel like they are staring at me all the time.

Sectioning is a legal process - and not something you can do to yourself and is really something to be avoided as it has other legal consequences.

You can self refer yourself - I'm not sure what the process actually is but good place to start would be either your GP or A&E. Suggest you try posting this question in the Action on Depression forum - that is a bit more active and I'm sure you will get lots of support from other people who have self referred there.
