HELP WITH REBOUND MIGRAINES AND COMING OFF TRIPTANS
I take
Zomig
(Zolmitriptan) and over the last 20 years they have just made things so much worse but if I don't take one I become so sick and dehydrated I could potentially end up in hospital and I know they don't want people like me clogging up the system so I take another
Zomig
and go to bed.

Increasing triptan strength
Has anyone who takes
Zomig
gone from 2.5 mg to 5mg to manage their attacks better? Just wondering as I have been taking 2.5 mg for years but lately more frequently and I’m wondering if going up to 5mg once I’ve checked with my Dr could help the rebound effect.

65 Year Zomig Limit
My Dr has dismissed the need to come off
Zomig
on age grounds. Fitness may be a factor but as my Mum died from a stroke I’m concerned. I don’t relish giving up
Zomig
, which has been a life changer. I think I’ve answered my own question but anyone given up

Alternative to Zomig required?
I have tried many remedies over the years but found that
Zomig
was the most effective. But because it isn’t recommended for over 65 year olds (constricts blood vessels) my GP recently prescribed Bisoprolol (beta blocker).

Does anyone know why you can't take Imigran/Sumatriptan while pregnant in the UK?
My mother takes Imigran and its really tempting to take some, I normally have
Zomig
but I know that is definitely contraindicated for pregnancy so obviously have stopped that.

Migraines
I take
zomig
, which works but although I can function, they leave me feeling mussy and stupid. I know that mycophenolate can cause headache, but the increase doesn't really tie in within time that I started it. Any advice appreciated 🌼🌺🌼

RIBOFLAVIN 400mg
I only started last week around the anniversary to celebrate a year since last
Zomig
. I believe it may take 3 months to see if it reduces the number of attacks. We shall see. Has anyone else already tried this with any success?

MIGRAINE
I use Zolmitriptan (
zomig
) but they give me a rebound migraine so I'm basically on a treadmill of having a migraine, taking a
zomig
and then getting a rebound. I used to try to break the cycle by using MIGRIL but in the UK it is no longer available at the present time.

SPRINGTMS 2
The excruciating headaches continue to wake me up some mornings between 4am and 6am, but I've found a series of coping strategies which are much less invasive than my usual resort to
Zomig
. These start off with a couple of paracetamol and a biscuit and water.

I'd had Botox three times in 2014 which enabled me to reduce my intake of
Zomig
from around 20 a month to four or fewer, which has been very beneficial.

Not sure what to do next other than what the doctors advise , I'm currently taking neurontin which ease the pain and

which also help but it's just baffling to me!
