I am 67 this month so past Zomig’s 65 year recommended age limit. My Dr has dismissed the need to come off Zomig on age grounds. Fitness may be a factor but as my Mum died from a stroke I’m concerned. I don’t relish giving up Zomig, which has been a life changer. I think I’ve answered my own question but anyone given up Zomig/zolmatriptan on age grounds?

My mum is 71 and still takes triptans. I asked my specialist this and she thinks that is fine as long as my mum does not have cardiovascular problems.
