combined pill

hello I have endo and adeno and been taking mini pill for over a year , it’s not really doing much , my doctor said to try micrygon 30 think that how it’s spelled , but because I’m 47 I’m a little worried , is any one else on the combined pill at this age and if so how are things she said it’s a small dose of eastrogen so should help thankyou
