Awful gum pain . Any home remedies ?
if it's causing pain and sensitivity then I think it could be infected and you should try to get and take antibiotics or call around to more dental offices about an urgent visit. You can ask your dentist or regular doctor for the medication. Without treating an infection the issue could become emergent or make it harder to treat until you take the antibiotic

How can I access an NHS dentist in an emergency or out of nhs.uk/nhs-services/dentist...
Hi. I would, firstly, suggest phoning the local emergency dentist. You could also ask at the local pharmacy because there are products other than oil of cloves to help with toothache such topical gels.
I have end stage gum disease but avoid hard and crunchy food and chew everything slowly. I use Corsydyl ie Chorhexidine mouthwash before I clean my teeth. I used to go to the hygienist at my dentist 3-6mthly and she showed me how to brush my teeth and gums up and down both sides every day with an electric toothbrush. My NHS dentist sent me to the dental Dept at Sheffield Dental hospital under NHS as I still attend my dentist regularly. I only have 12 teeth now but they are fairly solid. Keep at it!!
