I am not one of these new processed type vegans who still want all the junk and cards but no animals no no I am more natural home cooking beans pulses that kind of thing but my stools have started to struggle again . Not passing whole either I do think possibly not drinking enough . I am looking for different remedies. Anyone?

With your natural diet, your fiber intake should be sufficient, so hydration could indeed be an issue here. Without enough water, fiber can actually contribute to dry stool, making it harder to pass. If you don't like the taste of water, maybe you can drink tea or diluted juice or you may be able to find some fruit flavouring to add to water to make it taste better. Prunes or figs may help too

Good luck

Have you tried the creams for haemorrhoids. I have porridge with fruit in the morning and a glass of prune juice. Plenty of veg with my evening meal and 2 litres of water each day. Since taking cocodamol and gabapentin for my spondylolisthesis, I do need laxatives. I have haemorrhoids and they bleed about once or twice a year. So not a real problem. If the extra fluid does not work perhaps talking to your GP just to check everything OK. Hope you find a treatment soon.

You could try some magnesium daily. I had a hemorrhoid that suddenly started bothering me and I had it surgically removed in may. It's a super painful recovery but def worth it! It takes a month to feel somewhat normal, needing with BMs for months is normal. Some pain and sorenesss for about 3-4 months. Highly recommend it, I feel so much better. I didn't know how much it was blocking and pressing on everything down there. Sits baths and preparation H helped sooth the area. With hazel helped after birth of my kids so I think it could help. Other things was this ointment I got on Amazon that instantly relieved the pain. Idk if it's available where you are

I definately sympathize! I've been treated for IBS & Diverticular disease for over 30 yrs & have had to deal with 'roids almost as long. I've had them "tied off" a few times, and that gave me some relief but they always come back. Firstly, increase your fluid consumption. If you're a coffee drinker like me, cut back on the caffeine as much as you can since it depletes your fluid level. You can try a stool softener but truthfully, that never worked for me. I also tried nearly every product on the shelf that claimed to offer relief. Some did, temporarily & some were either too messy or just garbage. What did and has continued to work is witch hazel so now I buy a big bottle at my pharmacy every couple of months. I use baby bum wipes, they help I promise, and I pour some into the package so the wipes are quite helpful! If I'm having a particularly bad 'road day, I soak a clean make-up remover pad in witch hazel, and apply it to the area. It feels weird but leave it there for awhile, shoot for 20 minutes. From what I understand, witch hazel is an astringent, and applying it liberally causes the nasty bugger to shrink and pop back in. Did you know it's actually a varicose vein? Give it a shot! Even if you don't do the baby wipe thing, a bottle of witch hazel isn't expensive & keeps well in a dark medicine chest next to your equally inexpensive make-up remover pads!
