Magnetic resonance alternatives

Due to my obesity ( more than 175kg) I havent been able to do a Magnetic resonance, even on a open machine. I have a back pain on the kidney zone, for which I take traumadol but still have pain; and without the Magnetic resonance resulta my doctor Tells me that cant offer me a therapy. Which diagnosis alternatives could I take to know my pain origin?

Thanks

As CT and MRI are not an option you are probably only left with an ultrasound scan.

🤔 This might be an option but…..MRI or CT scans are advised.

I’ve seen advertisements for “upright MRI” I wonder if you might be able to fit in one of those?
