My daughter is on the combined pill and has been for over a year, however she keeps randomly bleeding.....no signs or symptoms just bleeds..GP has been no help ( when we've been able to get through) she's at the end of her tether and very emotional. Any ideas what to do anyone??

🤔 I wonder if…because breakthrough bleeding is common in the first few months…is why your daughter’s GP is less than helpful. You would hope that this would settle down but it may not be the case for everybody…and this is bound to cause distress.

🤔It’s possible it just doesn’t suit her..she might find more empathy from a different GP in the practice.

I would go back to the GP and get the GP to look into this further. It's not uncommon for this to happen but it may be it doesn't suit her or there's something else going on. Good luck.
