Looking for some advice I've had vaginal itch outside (not inside) for a year seen numerous doctors had various creams now been told its lichen sclerosis (which ive read can lead to cancer) doctor gave me eumotave cream saying its the menopause I'm due to get married next year and feel like calling it off because of this and the changes I'm going through.

I was diagnosed with this 4 years ago after a similar length of time misdiagnosed as thrush.Symptoms are well under control with steroid cream and daily heavy moisturiser.

6 monthly checks for any changes and then crack on with life.

I can't comment on the emotional issues you are facing. That's something you need to discuss with your husband to be.

good luck 🙏

Thankyou for getting back to me I'm now on steroid cream which seems to be working I didn't know this would be a life long thing but I've been through so much in my life I suppose I'll just have to get on with it.😬

Hello,

I came across your post on LS which to my horror I was diagnosed with yesterday. I have had endometriosis all my life, went into horrendous menopause and then reluctantly went on HRT. After two years of thinking I was doing okay, now this. Can I ask how you’re getting on? The itch at night is driving me insane. Thanks.
