have frequent urination at night about 2-3 times and doctor feels i have overactive bladder but read it could be sign of bladder cancer. Check my urine today and was fine and went for bladder sonogram today and was but on oxbutynin. Would like to connect with others about this. Husband says a worry person. lol. Thanks

I would get a gynaecology appointment, especially if you’ve had kids..

I was experiencing frequency too, one night I was up 6 times..and when leaving the house I was always preoccupied re locations of toilets

My GP thought it could be due to a prolapse, but after examination dismissed it.

I was referred to UroGynae..and prior to the appointment had to keep a diary for 3 days re input/output.

At the appointment I had another examination to rule out a prolapse.

My input/output was satisfactory..no infection or blood

The extreme frequency was put down to a UTI

I was given Laxido..constipation can irritate the bladder

And Vagifem…to tighten my weak vagina

🙂Once I got on top of constipation things improved…but so far I haven’t used the Vagifem

I had a gynae physio who checked input /output .

I was offered desmopressin to help with frequency ,have one each night and it works well without side effects.
