Ive had an on, off, mild, pain, irritated feeling in various places, in my left armpit, for 3 months. Not had surgery, so it cant be an infection. It just feels odd. The same applies to my left breast (various places, I'm a 44 year old female. Sometimes it feels like its on the back wall behind my breast. No visible/or felt lumps and I do have a breast scan app booked just to check.

I didn’t have any sensations or symptoms to concern me prior to finding a breast lump..and previous regular mammograms had been normal.

🙂 It’s a good idea to have a medical opinion…there’s no substitute for peace of mind..

I found it after my second shower of a very warm day..no sign whatsoever in the morning, so I was stunned really because it was unmissable

The lump itself was hard, and didn’t move when I touched it..it was just above the nipple.

Within 2wks I had a referral to my local Breast Clinic for a mammogram…the results were available within an hour, because of the specific findings I then had a biopsy and this was positive for Grade3 cancer.

It hadn’t spread to Lymph Nodes, so I had a Lumpectomy followed by chemo and radiotherapy.

This was in 2014..

Sorry to hear you went through that and I'm glad that you came through it. I've had my checks today and nothing was found thank goodness. Thank you for taking the time to reply and all the best x
