hi Staceyn83

I’m not sure what the symptoms are so not very helpful but I have been having problems swallowing for the last couple of weeks I can’t put my finger on when it started but now everytime I sit down to eat I have a feeling that I can’t swallow it I’m going to choke. I chew my food so it’s really small and manage to swallow tiny bits at a time. It’s taking me so long to eat and it’s really frustrating me I ended up leaving most of my food. The odd thing is when I grab a piece of chocolate or something on the go I don’t seem to notice it. I had a laporoscopy 4 weeks ago and my throat was vey sore for a few days from the tube but I don’t remember it causing a problem swallowing.

Sorry this probably doesn’t answer your question but I wonder if your symptoms are the same.

🙂 Without knowing your specific symptoms it’s hard to speculate, but if you have reason to think anxiety could be the cause ..this link helps explain..
