Good evening all

5 days post op. I had a mini laparotomy last Friday (19th August) for sterilisation and to check for endo, adhesions and other abnormalities - all clear thankfully.

I wasn't really given any after care advice.

I was sent home with 12 tegaderm dressings (i have 3 incisions) I wasn't told if these need to be changed daily, the main incision above my pubic bone appears to be infected and it smells like rotting meat.

I am going to call my gp tomorrow but wondered what the standard aftercare advice usually is?
