Does anyone know if thyroxine medication is linked to bladder problems, e.g. I have been on thyroxine for many years and now early 60's the need to pee so often in the night has left me now on the border line of depression

Not heard of any connection. See a Dr. & ask to put a urine sample in.I suffer with atrophy(dryness) & need oestrogen cream regularly. Alsc sclerosis which has lead to narrowing.

I also use D-mannose powder, can get capsules, highly recommended to clear out bacteria Bladder. Possibility you have over active bladder but all need checking out.

cheers. saw doctor frequently over the years, tried a few types of tablets, no joy, and diagnosed overactive bladder so long ago..most recent 'help' from him, waiting on ultrasound to see where bladder placed prb wait months now due to backlog, yeh best of luck to you too! thank u
