Negative pregnancy test

So I’ve been suffering for 2 weeks with bad nausea now and feeling tired and really hungry all the time. I took a test which was 21 days after intercourse and it’s come back negative… I’m just wondering how reliable this is or had anyone been in similar situations?

Is your period late at all?

Roughly where in your cycle were you at the time?

Honestly I have no idea because I’m on the pill and take it continuously to avoid periods… I did miss one pill during the week after which Is why I’m more concerned… I have been getting random outbursts of bleeding for the last few weeks too so I’m just so confused🙃

Possibly worth seeing your doctor, also maybe repeat the test in a week or two.

I dunno if you've had the Covid vaccine recently, but some women are reporting things like breakthrough bleeding. Nothing too serious, it's that the vaccine seems to be a bit stressful for the immune system, and that causes hormones to be slightly off kilter for a month (which could explain the nausea).

Thank you I’ve made an appointment with the GP just having to wait 2 weeks. I’d heard that about the vaccine too but I had my last dose in February so not sure if it could be that or not but thank you!

Unlikely the vaccine if you had it in Feb.

I guess just repeat the test in a week for peace of mind. Hopefully your GP will have answers in 2 weeks
