Yeast infection??

have a yeast infection for about a month now. (At least i think it is yeast infection)

I used an OTC cream for a few days(maybe 4) but it burned me really bad so i stopped

Do these creams burn?

Plus i tried to put it really well and i think i scratch the tissues near the vagina opening

Then i went to the GYN doctor which told me that i have nothing. Only physical exam

And gave me a soothing cream (for burns, diaper rash)

Then i only used the soothing cream becouse it was so irritated down there.

It took many days for the normal color to come back and at the same time i had some pain here and there.

The firt two weeks i was so burned/irritated/red down there that i was having trouble sleeping.

At DEC 11 i had again some discomfort so i checked again down there where i saw some red areas around the vagina opening and on the labia minora, and 3 white things. The 3rd day i realised that the white things was discharge, small, wipe off, like really thin crumbs of cheese.

The area was getting really red, irritated, not too much itching to not at all, and after a few days with a sticky white discharge and a white coating around the vulva

and pain around vagina opening and in the middle of the vulva,(actually i am not sure were the pain is located)

I have no bad smell. It does not smell anything.

But i am feeling dry.

I have not used any treatment i am waiting if it clears by itself.

The day my period came (when we dont have full blood , the discharge was really thick white (like ricotta cheese or cottage cheese) only lasted that day.

Does that mean the yeast infection was going away?

Now i am on my period, and it burns because of the blood .

And also i still have some pain as it is still irritated.

and i was wondering if anyone had a similar situation.

How long without treatment can last?

Periods make it worse? Or flash out the infection?

Creams from the pharmacy are supposed to burn?

P.s I am not sexually active

If prescribed medication hasn’t given relief, and you still have symptoms, see your doctor again.

A specific kind of yeast called Candida albicans causes most yeast infections. These infections are easily treatable.

If you’re having recurring yeast infections or problems getting rid of a yeast infection with conventional treatment, then a different version of Candida might be the cause. A lab test can identify what type of Candida you have.

Yes those medications burn. After repeated yeast infections, I found that the best treatment is a probiotic designed specially for it. It’s natural, works great and even improves your digestive system.
