Hi guys just wanted to ask, if wgat is the possible reason. Its been 8 months since the last time i got my period. I already tried pregnancy test, but the result is negative. What could be the possible reason why I don't get my period?

Are you under a lot of stress?

Are you on a diet?

How often do you work out?

No, I never tried taking a birth control. This past few months, I'm really really stress to some personal reasons. I'm not on my diet when infact I really gain weight all of the sudden. I don't work out too.

Well if you're gaining weight unexpectedly too, I'd suggest a visit to your doctor to be tested for PCOS.Stress can also stop periods - the way I've heard it put, in our hunter gatherer days, stress came from things like food shortages, emigrating, battles etc. The body would shut down its reproductive system because "now isn't a good time to be having to carry a child". Look at stress relief, like meditating.
