Previous questions I’ve asked on here will explain how badly ive been messed around with being moved from pill to pill but basically after the first break on the combined pill I continually spotted for about 12 days until I changed pill but it was still the same exact active ingredients as the last just a different brand pill but 2 days after that I had sex with my partner and it caused me to bleed unbelievably heavy to the point I was in hospital with how much bleeding there was but now that has stopped and I haven’t had any bleeding for 3-4 days now not even spotting so my question is do you think that having sex again could cause the same thing to happen? Because I don’t think I could cope with how heavy it was again lol, or could it possibly be just due to changing round and then having a period mid pack?
I’m just really nervous to incase it happens again but I haven’t been spotting at all which I was when it happened the first time

Other reasons were ruled out at the hospital, clear of all stds and have never had one previously either and he said I was too young for it to be a concern for cancer as it’s only happened this one time and he said he’s seen it before in other women where they’ve changed in such a dhort time, I just don’t ever want to bleed like it again lol so I’m worried to do anything eventhough everything has stopped completely for a few days now
It could be the pill but if you stopped spotting and then began bleeding straight after sex it could be something else. I would advise you see a doctor for an examination to rule out anything else. Seems ridiculous that they changed you to another pill with the same ingredients as the one that caused spotting! Were the concentrations of the ingredients the same? If so also mention that to your doctor.
The spotting never stopped but after sex it caused heavy bleeding and the doctor at the hospital said he thinks it’s because of how many times I was changed in such a short space because it started straight after starting the new one. He said I’m way too young for him to be concerned of it being serious Like cancer and stds were also ruled out. It was heavy bleeding like a period so he said he thinks it was the change and because I hadn’t bled properly the previous months. I hope it should be okay now as this pill seems to be settling, like I’m not bleeding or anything at all. Yes it’s the exact same active ingredients, the same amounts and everything
