Back story last year December i had an abdominal scan due to always having very heavy and painful periods they found thickened lining but nothing to worry about and gave me some mefanic acid tablets to take to ease the pain and bleeding.
Im Sept i had some spotting between period and my periods were abit irregular tbh this could be my normal but I've never really writ them down until i had this app so i rang the doctors and they sent me for a internal scan so i went for the scan and they found thickened lining, cyst on right ovary and a polyp. I had the Ca 125 test and it came slightly raised so now I'm waiting for a gynecology dr to call and arrange an further appointment.
I am absolutely petrified it could be cancer, I've done that much research on all of this that i am dreading it more!
Anyone with help or advice or similar experience?
Please do help me

Hi I was recently hospitalised with suspected appendicitis due to abdominal pain my internal scan showed thickened endometrium too. Waiting for another scan as follow up. Only symptoms I have is occasional spotting and discharge. Also get abdominal pain and back pain but Dr said it's Ibs. Sorry this is probably no help but just wanted to reply so you didn't feel alone. I am also petrified too x
It is a horrible time to go through, with all that is already going on in the world too. I have googled so much recently its more worrying. I hope you get deffinate answers soon and I hope it is just ibs, . I've got my appointment on 11th November, for another ultrasound scan ( I'm confused why i need another for)
Hi Lisa. Just read your post from 3 weeks ago. Just wondered how you were doing? I know that cysts can elevate the ca 125 reading so I’m sure it was just that. Hope you’ve got the answers you needed. The waiting is the worst part.
