Bone pain
You should get your Vitd and calcium levels checked.
Hi there. I've had this pain for years. Initially my vit D was very low and can cause this pain. However, even with normal levels I still get this pain on and off. I've had a dexter scan to check actual bones (normal) and now drs are pointing at fibromyalgia. Still waiting for diagnosis!
Hope you find what's causing your pain. Take care xxxx
Hi yes I had these in my arms and legs. I was prescribed gabapentin which did help, but the pain stopped and I no longer need noxious medication for it. I was diagnosed with pernicious anaemia after years of feeling exhausted, and discovered that many other things I experienced, including the shooting pains, were due to b12 deficiency. I have a vitamin b12 injection every week now and I rarely get shooting pains. B12 deficiency and pernicious anaemia often get misdiagnosed as fibromyalgia, depression, anxiety, ms, Alzheimer’s, dementia... worth checking? Maybe research the other symptoms and see what you think? Good luck
