Your renal unit should have a diatician on the team you can see, they will go through your diet and give you specific information on foods to avoid, potassium and phosphate are usually the problem ones.
I have not been allocated a team but am seeing a urologist in August to have a test done , due to keep getting UTI s

Hello. Im a kidney transplant patient with ckd 3. I am currently avoiding red meat as I realize through many blood test results that it increases my creatinine. I think it may cause some stress like having a harder time filtering the kidney for those who have an issue with their kidneys. Not to healthy kidney functions of course. I try to eat mostly simple and healthy- fruits and vegetables. Non meat protein etc. Hope this helps!

Yes same here but I just do it for my preference, seeing how my labs fluctuates :). Its up to you. My doctor never told me to avoid anything except grapefruit. Its just my personal experience and preference. You don't need to follow of course!
Thanks am going to look into this problem with my kidneys with diet etc . The whole food thing seems quite difficult to grasp . No advice from doctor . Seeing a urologist in August . Will speak to him .
