Pituitary tumour in pregnancy

Good morning,

Does anyone have experience/currently pregnant with a pituitary tumour?

I'm 29 weeks with my second boy (I was diagnosed with a 20mm macro-adenoma 6 weeks before I feel pregnant) and can find very little much information from women in a similar position.

Due to this he'll be born by scheduled cesarean at 37 weeks and some docs are telling me breastfeeding is off the cards for my own health, others saying its OK to give it a go and monitor me closely.

Any experience on pregnancy/the birth itself /breastfeeding would be really appreciated.

Many thanks in advance

Hey there. Congratulation on your pregnancy! Did they put you on medication for the pituary tumor/high prolactin level before or during your early pregnancy? Usually the medication should help shrink the tumor/lower the prolactin level(to get or stay pregnant but you are already 29weeks) as my endocrinologist and obgyn has explained to me. Wishing you the best :) God bless!!
