Dull Ache/cramping in the pelvic area?

I’m not on my period, nor am I due, I’m about a week into a new monthly cycle but I’ve got cramping/a dull ache in my pelvic area.

It’s been happening on and off between a year to two years now and I don’t know what it could be.

I have been to the doctors and all tests came back normal apart from one ultrasound which showed I have a single, small, ovarian cyst but the doctors didn’t seem concerned. I am going back tomorrow for a follow up but am so anxious.

I have no other systems what so ever, periods are normal, no pain anywhere else or any other time.

What could this be?

Pain like that can be a sign you're ovulating. Ovulation pain is like dilute period cramps and would happen for a few days between periods just like you describe.
